I created WildWisconsin to provide a central source of backpacking information for backpackers and other hikers in Wisconsin, and to show off some of the state's beautiful natural areas.

Take a look at the Discussion and Image forum, and see some of the photos posted by our members -- and feel free to post your own images, along with any questions or comments you may have.

You'll also find a trails database, a listing of most of the hiking trails in Wisconsin. While the list is farily comprehensive, we're looking to our members and friends to help fill in a lot of the blanks. If you can help in that respect by sending us information on trails you've hiked, please visit the Trail Data Needed! section.

We are always looking for new content for the site, and invite you to share your trail experiences, which we may post in the Hiker's Journal section.

Have you read a good article or story on Wisconsin hiking? We'd love to include it on the site (with the author's permission, of course). Please send us the article in electronic form, with as much information about the author and source as you have, and we'll consider it for publication.
